Fire Defender Timber FR is supplied in 4 and 10 litre tins and has been specifically designed for those wishing to keep a natural timber look. Timber FR is also ideal for fire retarding the raw or untreated combustible timbers used in building construction for frames, flooring/decking and roof trusses.

Areas suitable for using our fire retardant products include:

  • Bedrooms, kitchens, hallways and access areas. Around BBQs, garages, electrical appliances and power point locations.
  • Areas surrounding items with potential to create natural sparks such as fireplaces, wood burners or candles.
  • Ideal in essential thoroughfare areas used to exit the building should a fire occur.
  • Internally in RV vehicles and boats.
  • Other applicable areas wherever fire protection is desirable.
