Fire Defender Coating FR is supplied in 4 and 10 litre tins and is suitable for most interior and exterior surfaces in and around homes, boats or RV vehicles. It uses intumescent technology to create a protective retardant barrier.

Coating FR has been tested to Australian Standard AS3837 and achieved a Group 1 rating.

Areas suitable for using our fire retardant products include:

• Internal wall - timber and plasterboard
• External walls - timber
• Bedrooms, kitchens, hallways and access areas. Around BBQs, garages, electrical appliances and power point locations.
• Areas surrounding items with potential to create natural sparks such as fireplaces, wood burners or candles.
• Painted furniture such as bed frames, chairs and bookcases.
• Ideal in essential thoroughfare areas used to exit the building should a fire occur.
• Internally in RV vehicles and boats.
• Other applicable areas wherever fire protection is desirable.
